POSITION SUMMARY:The School of Theatre at North Greenville University is seeking qualified adjunct instructors to join our teaching pool in the areas of Camera Acting and Introductory Theatre Courses. Appointments are made on a semester-by-semester basis, as departmental needs arise.Applicants should have a background and/or professional experience in theatre performance, acting instruction, and related coursework.North Greenville University is a teaching university of the South Carolina Baptist Convention and is a tobacco and alcohol-free campus. Adjunct faculty report to the Chair of the School of Theatre and may coordinate with full-time faculty as needed.WORK SCHEDULECourses are assigned on a per semester basis. Class times may vary and could include daytime or evening sections depending on department needs.MFA in Theatre, Film, Acting, Performance, or a related field; or significant professional experience in the performing arts.College level teaching experience preferred.Demonstrated success in performance or instruction.Understanding of and ability to articulate the integration of Christian faith with artistic practice.Strong communication and organizational skills.
