Job summary

Babson College is seeking a Theater Technician to manage technical operations for various events at the Sorenson Center for the Arts. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge in theater technology and experience leading teams.

The role involves ensuring safety standards, liaising with stakeholders, and delivering production support across different performing arts. This is an hourly non-exempt position offering a competitive rate and benefits.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in at least one department of theater technology.
• Experience leading small teams or supervising a theater space.
• Comfortable working with various genres in performing arts.

Responsibilities

• Operate the facility and supervise the safe use of theatrical equipment.
• Provide lighting design, audio engineering, and stage management.
• Liaise with clients to ensure seamless event execution.
