Job summary

Saints Peter & Paul Catholic School in Tucson, AZ seeks a Theater and Communication Arts Teacher for K–8 to inspire creativity and faith-based learning. Under the direction of the principal, the teacher will develop lessons aligned with state standards, lead drama productions, integrate Catholic values, and use Google Classroom or similar tools.

Candidates should hold an Arizona Teaching Certificate or be willing to obtain Diocesan certification; strong communication and classroom management

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in Theatre, Fine Arts, Education, or related field.
• Arizona Teaching Certificate or ability to obtain required.
• Willingness to obtain Level I Diocesan Ministry Certification.

Responsibilities

• Teach foundational techniques in acting, improvisation, vocal projection, script analysis and stagecraft to K–8 students.
• Coordinate and direct theatrical productions and calendar events.
• Integrate Diocesan Religion Standards and Catholic virtues into daily instruction.
• Maintain safe, inclusive learning environment and communicate with families.
