Cinemark Bartenders prepare accurate, high quality, and consistent beverages following Cinemark standards. They provide recommendations to guests, use selling techniques, and ensure a clean, safe, and memorable experience in a fast-paced theater environment.

This role requires 21+ age, food handling/safe alcohol training, and flexibility for evenings/weekends/holidays. Strong guest service, cash handling, and English communication are essential to thrive in a team setting at Cinemark.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Completes basic food handling training and any local/state required certification.
• Team Members serving alcohol must complete Safe Alcohol Service training.
• Experience in a high-volume bar environment preferred.
• Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Regular and consistent attendance required.
• Energetic and friendly attitude with guests; strong guest service.
• Accurate cash handling and basic math skills.
• Excellent English communication (verbal and written).
• Ability to work in a team and independently, take direction, and stay proactive.

Responsibilities

• Greet Guests with a smile in a timely, professional manner.
• Know bar and menu items; make recommendations.
• Record food and beverage orders accurately in a timely manner.
• Verify IDs to ensure guests are 21+ for alcohol.
• Ensure alcohol is consumed in designated areas only.
• Use selling techniques to increase orders.
• Collaborate with kitchen to ensure accurate orders.
• Deliver food and beverage orders within set time frames.
• Process payments for guest orders.
• Maintain stock levels for the bar.
• Assist the General Manager on duty with liquor orders.
• Keep high-contact areas clean and sanitized.
• Follow PPE requirements and adapt to cleaning tasks.
• Monitor safety and report issues to management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
