Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Texture Engraving Technician to join our manufacturing team. While we seek an experienced Engraver, we would also welcome entry-level candidates who are highly motivated and interested in learning specialized processes related to chemical engraving, mold texturing, and tooling preparation for the automotive and manufacturing industries.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with chemical engraving, mold texturing, and tooling preparation processes.
• Support mold set‑up, tear down, cleaning, staging, and handling with care and attention to detail.
• Prepare molds and tooling through masking, blasting, cleaning, and inspection procedures according to work instructions.
• Operate equipment such as forklifts, cranes, hoists, and other production‑related machinery as trained.
• Assist with troubleshooting tooling or production issues and communicate concerns to supervisors in a timely manner.
• Work closely with other departments such as Laser Engraving, Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, and Tool Room teams to coordinate finished work, support workflow efficiency, and ensure production schedules are met.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of tooling, equipment, and work areas.
• Perform shipping and receiving duties including checking in tooling, preparing completed jobs for shipment, and organizing incoming materials.
• Run sample parts and assist with process verification for new or transferred tooling projects.
• Follow all company safety procedures, OSHA regulations, and quality standards at all times.
• Support additional production and engraving-related duties as needed to meet customer requirements.
• Miscellaneous duties in support of the chemical engraving team.

• Experience with engraving, etching, blasting, molding, or texturing is helpful but not required — training will be provided.

Education & Experience

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Technical school training, vocational certification, or manufacturing coursework preferred but not required.
• Prior experience in an industrial setting, where attention to detail and regular attendance is required.
• Prior experience as a Chemical Engraver preferred but not required.

Physical & Work Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
• Comfortable working around industrial equipment, tooling, chemicals, and production machinery with proper PPE.
• Ability to work a standard 40‑hour work week with overtime and occasional weekends as needed.
