Job summary

Bedford Weaving Inc. in Bedford, Virginia, is seeking a production operator to operate multiple looms, follow SOPs, and meet manufacturing goals. You will craft fabrics, monitor quality, and keep equipment clean in a fast-paced environment.

Shift rotations are monthly with 7AM-3PM, 3PM-11PM, and 11PM-7AM; must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, work overtime, wear PPE, and maintain safety standards while collaborating with teammates.

Responsibilities

• Operates multiple looms to meet production goals.
• Follows SOPs and manufactures fabrics per requirements.
• Monitors looms to ensure fabric meets quality standards.
• Stops/starts machines to load materials and maintain function.
• Inspects fabric to identify defects and prevent issues.
• Keeps equipment and work areas clean and maintained.
• Works safely and reports unsafe conditions to management.
• Collaborates with team and adapts to changing needs.
