Job summary

Alsco Uniforms is seeking a Counter-Sorter to sort and count soiled textiles, identify damaged items, and transfer textiles to appropriate departments. This non-exempt, full-time role reports to the Production Manager and requires thorough adherence to safety protocols.

You will work in a team environment within our industrial laundry facility, performing physical tasks including standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Ability to support production flow and adapt to daily needs.
• Capable of following PPE policies and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Open bags of soiled textiles and sort by type, size and color.
• Count textiles manually or electronically and transfer to sorting systems.
• Identify damaged textiles and record in sorting systems.
• Maintain production flow and assist team as needed.
