Job summary

Alsco Uniforms in Vista, CA is hiring a Feeder/Folder to sort, inspect, and fold clean textiles, ensuring quality before final packaging. You will handle textiles by hand or feed them into folding machines, following packing instructions and production requirements.

You will log production activity in the Spindle system, move materials within the facility, and report to the Production Manager. This non-exempt role requires physical stamina and attention to detail in a fast-paced industrial

Qualifications

• Recognize colors, sizes, and product types.
• Counting and sorting accuracy.
• Skill in inspecting and grading product quality.
• Understanding of written packing instructions and capability to follow verbal and written directions.

Responsibilities

• Sort, inspect, and grade clean textiles removed from carts or bins to ensure they meet company quality standards.
• Fold, assemble, and package textiles by hand or feed items into ironing or folding machines according to production requirements.
• Process textiles by product type and follow written packing instructions to prepare items for final distribution.
• Place finished products onto conveyors or into carts and move materials within the production area.
• Record production activity by logging in and out of the Spindle productivity tracking system.
