Job summary

Noble Biomaterials, Inc. in Scranton, PA, is hiring a Textile Production Technician for a 2pm–12am Mon-Thu shift. You’ll measure and mix chemicals, monitor controls, and process fabric in chemical baths to support our manufacturing of advanced materials.

Starting pay is $20.00 per hour with additional $1.00 per hour after 3pm and $1.50 per hour after 11pm, plus weekly pay. Full benefits begin on the first of the month after hire, including medical, dental, vision, life and disability coverages,

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Age 18+ with reliable transportation.
• Previous manufacturing or industrial experience preferred.
• Must wear a respirator frequently.
• Work in varied indoor conditions with PPE and PPE use.

Responsibilities

• Measure and mix chemicals following a recipe.
• Adjust controls according to regulations; monitor gauges and instruments to maintain conditions.
• Submerge and move fabric in chemical bath adhering to processing times.
• Input data into computer system.
• Run and troubleshoot machines and reactors.
• Prepare product samples for lab testing.
• Complete production records and follow process instructions.
• Identify fabric types and check quality requirements.
• Assist team members and cross-train in other areas.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
