Job summary

Secant Group is seeking a Weaver/Textile Operator for a 1st shift (4 ten-hour days, Monday-Thursday, 6:00am-4:00pm) to set up looms and produce fabrics for medical and industrial clients. The role may involve operating broad or shuttle looms and ensuring product quality through routine checks.

Qualifications include a high school diploma and 0–1 year related experience. Familiarity with ERP systems is a plus, and candidates must be dependable and able to work well in a team.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 0–1 year related experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend safety rules, work instructions and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Draws in warp yarn according to specifications.
• Follows procedures to install lease(s)/lease rods and knot tying warp(s).
• Completes all documentation requirements.
• Manufactures fabrics and woven products according to requirements.
• Identifies and corrects defects.
• Records qualitative and quantitative measurements in accordance with internal specifications.
• Makes processing adjustments to ensure quality product.
• Accurately logs machines downtime reason with a tablet.
• Other duties as assigned.
