Job summary

Fenner Precision Polymers in Manheim, PA, is seeking a skilled machine operator to set up and run textile looms, manage yarn selection, and assist with QA inspections. The role emphasizes safe, efficient production and cross-functional collaboration with QA and maintenance teams.

You will perform routine adjustments, participate in process improvements, and uphold company values while working Monday through Friday, 6:00am–2:00pm.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1–3 months related experience and/or training.
• Basic PLC training within 1 year of obtaining position.
• Electrical I is required within 6 months; Electrical II within 1 year.
• Hydraulic or pneumatic training will be required as needed.

Responsibilities

• Set up and run machines with assistance to include load pattern and processing settings.
• Enter and set up looms.
• Identify correct yarn for each job.
• Assist with slitting processes.
• Submit First Article Inspection to QA.
• Cross training with QA department.
• Maintain and promote Fenner Precision Polymers values and behaviors at all times.
• Repairs and troubleshoots using mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic methods as applicable.
• Adjust looms to change material width.
