Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East is seeking a Machine Operator to run and monitor textile machinery, load cloth, set up operations, and ensure quality during the 7am–7pm shift, Monday through Thursday. Ideal candidates will be able to lift 75–100 pounds, enter data into a computer, and follow verbal and written instructions while maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly workplace.

Strong communication and teamwork are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Able to inspect and operate cloth and machinery as required.
• Capable of data entry and following written instructions.
• Must be safety conscious and able to work with others.

Responsibilities

• All employees must participate in continuous improvement and verify solutions.
• Conform to quality, safety, and environmental requirements and procedures.
• Read and follow instructions on converting orders.
• Perform routine machine operations (load, set-up, doff) and adjust for quality.
• Thread cloth through machine and manage settings for proper results.
• Inspect lot numbers and cloth construction for conformance.
• Maintain neat production reporting and a clean workspace.
• Able to lift 75–100 pounds and climb ladder as needed.
• Operate sewing machine and measure/cut fabric.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
