Job summary

Sight & Sound Brand is hiring for an Inventory-Laundry Technician to manage laundry and fabric materials for costume production. You will coordinate with the Costume Project Manager and technical teams to ensure materials are processed and available for the garment workflow, with an emphasis on accuracy and efficiency.

The role requires knowledge of textiles, basic Excel/Word skills, and strong organizational abilities.

Qualifications

• Experience with an inventory management system.
• Knowledge of textiles or garment construction preferred.
• Highly organized with attention to detail.
• Basic competency in Excel and Word.
• Able to communicate clearly with team members.
• Self-management of time and tasks.

Responsibilities

• Review costume build project needs with the team and prioritize material flow for laundering.
• Manage laundry tasks for raw materials including washing, drying, rolling, and organizing fabric rolls.
• Perform inventory-related measurements and update data records for all raw materials.
• Assist Area Buyer with receiving duties and researching vendor supply issues; update documentation accordingly.
