Job summary

Qualifications

  • Experience in textiles or garment grading preferred.
  • Non-profit or charitable organization experience advantageous.

  • Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory management.
  • Ability to lift and move textile items as required.

Responsibilities

  • Assess and grade donated textiles based on quality, condition and type.
  • Sort textiles into appropriate categories for resale, recycling, or disposal.
  • Maintain accurate records of graded textiles and report discrepancies or issues.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and meet standards.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and organized workspace to ensure safety and operational efficiency.
  • Provide feedback on textile trends and inventory needs to support sales strategies.
