Job summary

Slingshot is seeking a Campus Store Associate at Northwood University - Midland, MI. You will serve customers at the register, manage in-store stock, and process sales using a POS system while supporting the university and Slingshot values.

The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, standing for extended periods, and flexibility during peak seasons. A high school diploma or equivalent and retail/customer service experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Stand for long periods and perform campus store operations.
• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of experience in retail or customer service preferred.
• Effective communication with students, faculty, staff, and customers.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, and Google Suite.
• Detail-oriented and organized; able to self-start.
• Flexible schedule during peak seasons.

Responsibilities

• Serve customers at the register and handle cash/credit payments.
• Assist with receiving, locating textbooks, and general merchandise.
• Ship textbooks and general merchandise.
• Fulfill textbook orders.
• Perform general clerical tasks and respond to emails.
• Other duties as assigned.
