Job summary

The Armed Services YMCA National Headquarters is seeking a Regional Development Officer (Texas) to drive philanthropic revenue across the state. This fully remote role requires intrastate travel and focuses on major gifts, grants, corporate partnerships, and events to support military families.

Reporting to the Vice President, Development, you will implement regional fundraising plans, manage donor portfolios, and cultivate new funding opportunities across Texas.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5–7+ years in fundraising or related fields.
  • Proven track record of meeting revenue goals.
  • Skilled in donor and partner relationship management.
  • Experience in regional or remote fundraising.

Responsibilities

  • Execute regional fundraising strategies in partnership with the Vice President, Development.
  • Cultivate, solicit, and steward donor relationships to meet revenue targets.
  • Identify and pursue grants and institutional funding opportunities.
  • Develop events and sponsorship programs to support fundraising.
  • Build partnerships with Texas businesses, civic leaders, and military communities.
  • Travel regularly within Texas and for regional/national meetings.
