Job summary

Dexterra Group in Texas seeks a licensed Master Plumber to lead the plumbing operation for a large workforce accommodations facility. You will install, inspect, repair, and maintain domestic water, DWV, hot water systems and fixtures, while ensuring code compliance and safety.

The role requires active Texas Master Plumber license, ability to supervise apprentices and contractors, and at least 5 years of experience with modular or temporary structures in high-occupancy settings.

Qualifications

• Active Texas Master Plumber license issued by the Texas State Board of Plumbing Examiners (TSBPE).
• Eligible to supervise plumbing work in accordance with Texas law.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in commercial, industrial, or institutional plumbing.
• Demonstrated experience working with temporary, modular, or prefabricated structures.
• Strong knowledge of the Texas State Plumbing Code.
• Experience supporting high-occupancy residential or workforce accommodation facilities.
• Proven troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of site plumbing systems.
• Strong documentation, communication, and organizational skills.
• Physically capable of performing hands-on plumbing work.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the licensed Master Plumber for the facility and ensure compliance with plumbing codes and standards.
• Install, inspect, repair, service, and maintain plumbing systems (domestic water, DWV, hot water, fixtures).
• Diagnose and resolve leaks, blockages, pressure issues, and system failures.
• Supervise apprentices, journeymen, or contractors as permitted by Texas law.
• Support general facilities maintenance related to plumbing infrastructure.
• Respond to plumbing emergencies and service calls.
• Coordinate with other trades and maintenance staff.
• Maintain documentation of inspections, repairs, and corrective actions.
• Ensure all plumbing work adheres to site safety programs.
• Enforce lock-out/tag-out and confined-space procedures where applicable.
