Job summary

X-Bow Systems in Texas is seeking a skilled Manufacturing/Mechanical Engineer to design, select, and commission equipment for our manufacturing facilities. The role requires strong mechanical systems knowledge and hands-on experience with plant layout and equipment integration.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, 3–5 years of related experience, and familiarity with AS9100 standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• PE license preferred but not required.
• Certifications in Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, or Reliability Engineering are a plus.
• 3–5 years of equipment design, selection, and commissioning experience.
• Experience with manufacturing processes, plant layout, and equipment integration.
• Familiarity with AS9100 standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, selection, and commissioning of equipment for manufacturing facilities.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to optimize processes.
• Ensure conformance to industry standards (ASME, ANSI, API, OSHA, NFPA) and DoD guidance when applicable.
• Utilize CAD and simulation tools to model equipment layouts and performance.
• Assist with risk assessment, troubleshooting, and maintenance planning.
