Job summary

Amazon.com, Inc. (Amazon) seeks a Texas-licensed Security Engineer to conduct penetration testing on our services and applications in a full-time remote role. The engineer will work with multiple technology teams to identify and remediate security gaps.

The position requires hands-on testing, detailed reporting, and strong collaboration with software development teams. A Texas license or equivalent experience in security engineering is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field or 2+ years of IT security experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on application penetration testing or offensive security assessments.
• Experience identifying, exploiting, and documenting application vulnerabilities.
• Experience writing penetration test reports and communicating findings to software teams.
• 2+ years of scripting or programming in Python, Go, Java, Ruby, or similar language.
