Job summary

Haywire in Plano, TX is seeking a friendly Host or Hostess to welcome guests like family and ensure every visit feels special. You will create a warm, Texas-sized welcome as diners arrive, pace seating to match the guests’ needs, and help set the tone for a memorable meal.

Prior hospitality or customer service experience is preferred; OpenTable experience is a plus. Must be able to read, write, and speak English, stand for long periods, and lift up to 50 pounds. E-Verify participation noted.

Qualifications

• Previous host/hostess or customer service experience preferred.
• OpenTable experience is a plus.
• Must be able to read, write, & speak English.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time & lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
• Maintain a current Food Handler's Certification.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide a warm Texas welcome.
• Recognize our regular and VIP guests and make them feel at home.
• Seat guests promptly and manage guest flow.
• Engage with guests to ensure a memorable dining experience.
• Celebrate special occasions and contribute to a lively, Texas hospitality atmosphere.
