Job summary

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in public affairs, a strong Texas network, and the ability to travel to onsite locations as needed to advance SpaceX’s priorities and mission.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 5+ years in public affairs or government policy, advocacy, or legislative navigation.
• Experience building relationships with community leaders and stakeholders in Texas.

Responsibilities

• Lead engagement with state and local leaders to support SpaceX priorities.
• Develop and maintain a network of relationships with local government officials and regulators.
• Monitor and analyze local and regional policy developments.
• Perform research, develop policy materials and collateral.
• Support the director of Government Affairs with statewide priorities.
