Job summary

CI Health Group locum tenens seeks an Emergency Medicine physician in Texas with family medicine背景 and emergency medicine experience. Schedule includes 7a–7p shifts, 12/24/36-hour options, covering 3–5 shifts per month at a 16-bed hospital with ED. EMR is Medtech Expanse; codes management and handoffs are key duties.

Travel, lodging, and malpractice are covered; dates include November through January with multiple shift slots available. Competitive compensation and credentialing support provided.

Qualifications

• BC/BE required for the ER physician role.
• ATLS and ACLS required; PALS preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• ER physician responsible for codes and managing emergent situations until hospitalist arrives (within 30 minutes).
• Daytime admissions go to the patient's PCP; night/weekend admissions to the on-call hospitalist.
• Face-to-face handoff at end of shift.
