Job summary

IMP Locum Tenens, LLC is seeking two board-certified psychiatrists for full-time, onsite positions in Texas. The assignments are correctional/forensic in nature, covering adult inmates with a start date around 10/05/2026.

These are locum tenens roles lasting 2–4 weeks, with compensation to be negotiated per case. The ideal candidates will have correctional and forensic experience and be comfortable working in a managed-care environment within a federal or state corrections facility.

Qualifications

• Board certification in psychiatry is required.
• Experience in correctional or forensic settings is preferred.
• Full-time, onsite assignment in a Texas facility.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychiatric care to adult inmates in a correctional setting.
• Develop and manage treatment plans for adults with mental health conditions.
• Collaborate with medical staff and security as needed.
