The Learning Experience seeks a Manager, Texas Child Care Licensing & Compliance to support child care centers across Texas with licensing compliance, inspection readiness, and regulatory risk management.

This field-based role operates as a subject matter expert on Texas licensing and HHSC standards, partnering with Center Directors and Operations leads to identify risks and strengthen practices across locations.

Qualifications

• Experience in Texas childcare licensing and HHSC regulations.
• Experience supporting licensing inspections, deficiencies, or corrective actions.
• Understanding of health, safety, staffing, and documentation requirements.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Texas licensing subject matter expert and monitor regulatory changes.
• Support licensing applications, renewals, amendments, and documentation.
• Guide centers on staff qualifications, training, ratios, and background checks.
• Prepare centers for licensing inspections and corrective action plans.
• Collaborate with operations, training, HR, facilities to resolve issues.
