Job summary

ClearBridge Technology Group is seeking a Testing Lead for a 12‑month contract in a hybrid schedule (3 days on site, 2 remote). The role is based in Gaithersburg, MD, Egg Harbor Township, NJ, or Eagan, MN and focuses on leading all test and evaluation activities and ensuring quality across all deliverables.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of testing leadership/management experience, with a bachelor’s degree.
• ISTQB Advanced or Expert Certification required.
• Proven experience leading testing and evaluation teams in federal or DoD programs.
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary TE teams: functional, performance, security, accessibility.
• Knowledge of governance, metrics-driven quality management and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Direct all test and evaluation activities and own QA across deliverables.
• Develop and maintain the TEMP master plan for the program.
• Lead planning, design and execution of developmental testing (DT), OT and UAT.
• Coordinate test activities across development, cybersecurity, deployment and systems engineering.
• Interface with customer leadership on testing and quality matters.

Job description

Our client, a leading Government Systems Integrator, is in need of a Testing Lead for an initial 12 month contract. This is a hybrid schedule consisting of 3 days onsite and 2 days remote with candidates being located in either Gaithersburg, MD, Egg Township, NJ or Eagan, MN. The Testing Lead will be responsible for directing all test and evaluation activities and accountability for quality assurance across all deliverables. They will develop and maintain the customers program test and evaluation master plan (TEMP), lead the team in planning, designing and executing developmental testing (DT), operational testing (OT and user acceptance testing. The Testing Lead will also coordinate test activities across development, cybersecurity, deployment and systems engineering while acting as the primary technical interface with customer leadership for all testing and quality matters.

Required Skills

• At least 12 years of experience with the last 7 years being in a testing lead or management role with a bachelors degree.
• ISTQB Advanced or Expert Level Certification required.
• Prior experience leading testing and evaluation teams within an enterprise federal or DOD program.
• Prior technical leadership experience of multi-disciplinary test and evaluation teams to include, functional, performance, security and accessibility testing.
• Experience and knowledge of test and evaluation governance, metrics-driven quality management and continuous improvement frameworks.
