Job summary

ABM Industries is seeking a Test Technician II to join our Electrical Power Services team. This role performs inspection, testing, troubleshooting, maintenance, and commissioning on electrical power distribution equipment in commercial, industrial, utility, and mission-critical environments.

The Test Technician II provides routine testing with limited supervision and supports project execution, safety compliance, documentation, and customer service objectives.

Qualifications

• Intermediate-level electrical testing knowledge and hands-on experience.
• Ability to perform inspection, testing, troubleshooting, maintenance and commissioning on electrical power distribution equipment.

Job description

ABM Industries is seeking a Test Technician II to join our Electrical Power Services team. This position performs inspection, testing, troubleshooting, maintenance, and commissioning activities on electrical power distribution equipment in commercial, industrial, utility, and mission‑critical environments.

The Test Technician II is expected to perform routine testing and maintenance activities with limited supervision while supporting project execution, safety compliance, documentation, and customer service objectives. NETA certification is not required; however, candidates should possess the technical knowledge, field experience, and testing capabilities consistent with an intermediate‑level electrical testing technician.

This role serves as a key field resource supporting project execution, customer relationships, technical quality, and operational excellence.

Pay: $40.00–$55.00 per hour

The pay listed is the salary range for this position. Any specific offer will vary based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.
