Job summary

Wolfspeed in the United States is seeking an Integration Test Technician to support yield in power device manufacturing. This role operates a compressed Front End Night Shift (12 hours) with a rotating 3- and 4-day schedule and supports automated test equipment maintenance and wafer disposition.

You will monitor processes, troubleshoot equipment, calibrate and perform preventative maintenance, and collaborate with engineering and operations to drive improvements in measurement and testing

Qualifications

• AA degree in a technical field required.
• 0-4 years semiconductor manufacturing experience.
• High level of dependability and ability to work with little supervision.
• Strong mechanical or electrical aptitude suitable for a cleanroom environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and perform corrective actions in response to control charts.
• Maintain calibration standards and perform regularly scheduled equipment maintenance tasks.
• Test equipment maintenance, calibration and disposition of wafers.
• Identify areas of improvement and implement modifications to the measurement process.
• Communicate regularly with engineering and operations.
• Disposition wafers based on engineering feedback.

Here’s the Gist:

• As an integration test technician, you will play a key part in yield of power device manufacturing process.
• You will work a compressed Front End Night Shift (12 hrs, alternating 3- and 4-day workweeks, Sun-Tue and every other Saturday from 6pm to 6am).
• You will work on automated test equipment maintenance, calibration and disposition of wafers.
• The Day-to-Day Monitoring and performing corrective action in response to control charts Maintaining calibration standards and performing regularly scheduled equipment maintenance tasks
• Using critical thinking skills to troubleshoot individual electrical and mechanical failures and communicating regularly with engineering and operations
• Dispositioning wafers based on engineering feedback
• Identifying areas of improvement and implementing modifications to the measurement process

The posted salary range is what Wolfspeed reasonably expects to pay for this position. Actual pay for a hired applicant will be determined based on the individual’s job-relevant qualifications, experience, and other determinative factors. In the event it is determined that a different job level upon hire is warranted then that range will be communicated to the hired applicant as soon as reasonably practicable. Compensation Range: $22.30 - $30.70
