Job summary

Ensign-Bickford Aerospace & Defense Company in Moorpark, CA is seeking a Test Technician for second shift to support electrical and mechanical testing of non-energetic product lines. Reporting to the ATL Test Lead, you will perform test setup, evaluation, and data collection.

The role requires strong mechanical aptitude, ability to work independently, and experience with instrumentation and various test equipment. Occasional heavy lifting and overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma; Associate Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred.
• Ability to work independently and interface with multiple levels; strong mechanical aptitude.
• Experience in an aerospace test lab is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Test evaluation, set-up and performance of electrical and mechanical tests.
• Equipment preventive maintenance and calibration activities.
• Test data reporting and plotting to support requirements.
• Equipment troubleshooting and repair as needed.

Job Description

EBAD seeks a Test Technician , reporting to the ATL Test Lead. This is a second shift position located in Moorpark, CA.

Responsibilities

The Test Technician position supports electrical and mechanical testing of our non-energetic product lines. Duties include:

• Test evaluation, set-up and performance
• Equipment preventive maintenance and calibration
• Test data reporting and plotting
• Equipment troubleshooting and repair

Primary responsibility will be evaluation, set-up and performance of electrical tests, mechanical loading and proofing. Testing will be performed in accordance with written procedures, MIL-STD's and industry specifications. Test data will be generated to support customer requirements. Occasional heavy lifting (25 lbs.) and overtime may be required.

Requirements

• Education: High School Diploma (Associate Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred).
• Candidates must be able to work independently and interface with individuals at multiple levels in the organization. Strong mechanical aptitude, problem solving and communication skills are required . Candidates must be able to interpret and execute test requirements provided in written specifications. Experience working in an aerospace industry is preferred.

Compensation

Salary Range: $60,000 - $75,000 per year. Salary is determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
