Job summary

Signia Aerospace in Anaheim, CA is hiring a Test Technician for helicopter hoists and cargo winches. This union position is on-site with a 2:30pm–11:00pm shift and starts at $27.50 per hour. A background check and FAA-regulated drug test are required.

You will perform testing, adjustments, inspections, and ensure quality and safety standards are met. You’ll work to maintain a safe, organized work area and follow blueprints and quality systems while developing necessary certifications through

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, with at least 1 year of Aerospace or Automotive industry experience.
• Ability to communicate in English to complete inspection reports.
• US Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or granted refugee or asylee status).

Responsibilities

• Utilize hand tools and equipment to perform necessary adjustments during test operations.

Onboard Systems Hoist & Winch, located in Anaheim, CA is one of the world's leading providers of Search & Rescue (SAR) and Human External Cargo (HEC) advanced mission equipment for civil, commercial, and military helicopters.

Position Overview

This is a union position covered under a collective bargaining agreement.

Starting pay is $27.50 per hour per the union contract.

The ability to pass a pre-employment background check and an FAA-regulated drug test is required.

Location: Anaheim, CA (Onsite)

Shift: Monday-Friday, 2:30pm 11:00pm

Pay: $27.50 per hour

The Test Technician will be responsible for performing functional and performance testing of helicopter hoists and cargo winches, ensuring conformance to blueprint specifications and adherence to quality standards. In this role, you will utilize hand tools and equipment for test adjustments, inspect parts and products for quality, and maintain a safe and organized work environment.

Who You Are

• This position requires the ability to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing, to complete inspection reports and understand safety and quality standards.
• High School Diploma or GED, with a minimum of 1 year of Aerospace or Automotive industry experience. Graduation from an Aerospace or Automotive technical program can substitute for experience.
• U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or granted refugee or asylee status).
• Prior manufacturing experience is preferred.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and follow detailed test instructions.
• Strong attention to detail, excellent analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities.
