Job summary

Markon, Inc. seeks a Test Specialist to support the Naval Nuclear Laboratory's A4W FITE to ensure readiness of high-fidelity training platforms. The role requires onsite work at West Mifflin, PA with up to 10% remote work, and semiannual travel to CONUS NNPP sites.

This position will certify hardware and software field changes, cross-train on A1B, and work with teams across NNPP sites to maintain optimal FITE performance and reliability.

Qualifications

• Must have active DOE L clearance or a DoD Secret clearance to be considered.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or engineering technology from an accredited college or university.
• 6+ years of relevant experience.
• Previous A4W qualification as EOOW, PPWO, or EWS.
• Semiannual travel to other NNPP sites.
• Ability to cross-train on the A1B platform - Ability to learn the simulation software platform.

Description

Markon is seeking a Test Specialist to support the Naval Nuclear Laboratorys's A4WFleet Interactive Training Equipment (FITE). FITEs are high-fidelity simulation platforms used to develop and maintain the operational readiness skills of the deployed fleet.

NOTE: This role does require work to be done onsite at the West Mifflin, PA location regularly, but this position can be done remotely 10% of the time.

Qualifications

Required:

Travel:

• Travel to CONUS locations is required semi-annually (or less than 10%).

Salary Range

USD $128,000.00 - USD $145,000.00 /Yr.The Markon pay range for this position is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
