Responsibilities

Job Summary

Responsible for scheduling/screening for ordered tests, MRI scans and minor procedures.

Essential Functions

• Responsible for customer service, accurate data entry and assisting with patient needs.
• Greets patients and visitors in a polite, prompt and helpful manner.
• Schedule tests’ appointments for patients; follows set protocols and asks MRI screening questions.
• Schedules follow-ups, test result appointments, etc.
• Answers questions from patients regarding tests to positively impact the care experience.
• Maintains clean and orderly work area.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications

Education: Medical background in scheduling is preferred

Experience: Minimum of one-year experience in medical practice setting, preferably in a health care setting.Knowledge of medical terminology and experience with medical software/office equipment

desirable.

• Computer and typing skills with a high degree of accuracy.
• Experience with medical terminology is preferred.
