QA Engineer – Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong experience in functional and manual testing of complex enterprise applications, including requirement analysis, test strategy creation, test case design, execution, and defect management.
• Ability to independently analyze business requirements and technical specifications and develop comprehensive test scenarios covering functional, integration, and regression testing.
• Hands‑on experience in test automation with the ability to develop, maintain, and enhance automated test suites and frameworks.
• Strong programming and scripting skills (Java, Python, JavaScript, C#, or equivalent) to support automation and test tool development.
• Good understanding of software testing methodologies, SDLC, STLC, and QA best practices.
• Solid knowledge of SQL with experience in test data creation, manipulation, validation, and backend/database testing.
• Good understanding of HTML, XML, JSON, and related web technologies to support UI, API, and integration testing.
• Strong understanding of software application architecture, including web‑based, API‑driven, client‑server, and distributed systems.
• Hands‑on experience in API testing, service validation, and end‑to‑end integration testing.
• Ability to perform root cause analysis, troubleshoot issues across application layers, and collaborate with development teams to drive defect resolution.
• Experience with test management and defect tracking tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.
