Impulsespace in Redondo Beach seeks a Test Hardware Engineer to design and build electrical test hardware for their test infrastructure. You will create reusable components for testing and collaborate with multiple teams to ensure effective deployment of technologies.

Compensation: $110,000 - $160,000 / year
As a Test Hardware Engineer at Impulse, you will design, build, deploy, and support the common electrical test hardware that powers our test infrastructure. You will create standardized, reusable building blocks for test engineers, including rack‑mounted DAQ and control units, mobile DAQ systems, test carts, rack‑mounted pressure controllers, thermal chamber support hardware, power distribution assemblies, and electrical interface boxes. In this role, you will collaborate closely with test operations, software automation engineers, IT, and other cross‑functional teams to ensure rapid, reliable deployment of test assets.
Compensation bands are determined by role, level, location, and alignment with market data. Individual level and base pay is determined on a case‑by‑case basis and may vary based on job‑related skills, education, experience, technical capabilities and internal equity. In addition to base salary, for full‑time hires, you may also be eligible for long‑term incentives, in the form of stock options, and access to medical, vision & dental coverage as well as access to a 401(k) retirement plan.
Impulse Space’s spacecraft manufacturing business is subject to U.S. export regulations including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
