Job summary

Jabil is seeking a Technician Engineer in Utah to support the test engineering team. You will help develop and commission test solutions, ensuring the fixture and program meet qualification standards and providing documentation for production readiness.

You will coordinate with Test Support and Manufacturing Operations to deliver training, maintain documentation, and drive improvements in yields, efficiency, and uptime while balancing cost and coverage for an optimized test process.

Qualifications

• Ability to present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Operate a Windows PC and related software; strong PC skills required.
• Advanced PC skills including knowledge of Jabil software packages.
• Ability to write simple correspondence; read and understand visual aids.
• Ability to follow simple one- or two-step instructions with common sense.
• Ability to handle standardized situations with few variables.
• Ability to read and understand simple instructions, memos and short correspondence.
• Ability to perform basic math operations in all units of measure.
• Ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages and interpret graphs.

Responsibilities

• Supports the Test Engineer in developing and commissioning test solutions per system qualification.
• Delivers production-ready outputs to Test Support and Manufacturing Operations.
• Assists in building and manufacturing testers, fixtures and environmental tooling to meet customer needs.
• Interfaces with Test Support to provide documentation and training for test solutions.
• Coordinates training and education for all test operations with Manufacturing.
• Monitors test yields, efficiency, intermittencies and uptime; reports progress and targets.
