Job summary

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD program in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0.
  • Proficiency with VB.NET, C#, or other object-oriented language; familiarity with Microsoft Office tools.
  • Self-starter with good communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Create automated test software using C++ or C# to control test equipment and run test plans.
  • Support RF fixture and probe card design activities, including PCB design and layout, test socket design and interface cabling.
  • Measure products using test equipment such as DC source/measure units, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, signal generators, and digital pattern generators.
  • Process, verify and analyze measured data; produce clear presentations and reports.
  • Document test system and software designs.
  • Develop test solutions for over-temperature bench and ATE testing, using Loadboards/Lego Cards and Test Fixtures.
  • Develop product interface fixtures to probe the product using Altium Designer and Keysight ADS.

Qorvo’s Test Engineering Internships are offered in our Advanced Cellular, Connectivity & Sensors, and High Performance Analog business groups. Specific projects and responsibilities will be determined based on the business needs at the time of the internship assignment.

Responsibilities may include:
  • Creating automated test software, using C++ or C#, to control test equipment and execute test plans
  • Supporting RF fixture and/or probe card design activities including PCB design and layout, test socket design and interface cabling design
  • Measuring product using test equipment like DC source/measure units spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, signal generators, and digital pattern generators
  • Processing, verifying, and analyzing the measured data; producing clear and concise presentations and reports
  • Documenting test system and software designs
  • Developing test solutions for over temperature bench and ATE testing, utilizing custom Loadboards/Lego Cards and Test Fixtures
  • Developing product interface fixtures to probe the product using Altium Designer and Keysight ADS
Qualifications:
  • Currently pursuing a BS, MS, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as VB.NET, C#, or other object-oriented language
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Self-Starter with good communication skills
  • Effective organization skills for systematic planning and scheduling

This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship by the Company.

Competitive hourly pay commensurate with experience: $31/hr - $42/hr (subject to change dependent on physical location)

Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. Qorvo reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as external competitiveness and internal comparability.

Base compensation is one element of Total Rewards offered at Qorvo. More information on the Total Rewards package can be shared upon request.
