Job summary

Hyve Solutions, a Hyve/ SyNNEX business unit in Memphis, TN, seeks a Test Engineer Technician for the second shift. You will perform maintenance on test infrastructure, install hardware, and provide Level 3 troubleshooting for server/rack/storage/GPU hardware in a fast-paced environment.

You will analyze root causes, contribute to quality improvements, test new product platforms, and generate production reports, while collaborating with manufacturing and cross-functional teams to ensure

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer/electrical engineering or equivalent is a plus.
• Minimum of 1 year related experience

Responsibilities

• Perform corrective and preventive maintenance on test infrastructure.
• Install hardware, build infrastructure racks, and manage rack cable management.
• Provide Level 3 tech support on troubleshooting/ failure analysis for server/rack/storage/GPU products in repair.
• Perform troubleshooting and root-cause analysis on hardware, network, and software related issues.
• Help analyze and improve first pass yield and implement continuous improvement projects to eliminate failures and defects.
• Provide technical support to manufacturing and all other critical teams internally.
• Test and validate new product platforms and software.
• Generates basic production reports and trends.
• Requires ability to handle tasks/assignments which are moderately complex in nature.
• Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with internal and external teams in support of overall company objectives.
