Abacus Technology seeks a Test Engineer to provide Test and Evaluation support for the TAAS program at Hanscom AFB. This full-time role requires 5+ years in test engineering, a Bachelor's degree, and U.S. citizenship with a Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in test engineering and support.
• Plan, coordinate, and implement all activities related to testing of IT and data center functions.
• Experience developing test plans and test cases.
• Broad knowledge of the quality assurance process as it applies to testing and evaluation of software applications and mission systems.
• Ability to communicate with all levels of an organization.
• Willingness to provide hands-on testing support when necessary.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen and hold a current Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Document the review, test concept development, test methodology development, test plan development, test execution, and test reporting.
• Identify, propose, and implement opportunities, novel processes, procedures, and methods to expedite testing.
• Apply Design of Experiments methods to plan and conduct test programs.
• Prepare test evaluation and success criteria, computations, analyses, specifications, cost estimates, test plans, and technical reports.
• Select and apply engineering and test techniques to analyze problems, data, performance, or features.
• Review and evaluate results and conclusions from test tasks.
• Devise new approaches and complete tasks efficiently and thoroughly.
• Evaluate test environments for software releases and ensure availability.
• Deconflict schedule conflicts between releases and provide high-quality analysis.
• Apply MBSE concepts and support digital engineering throughout lifecycle.
• Provide analysis to incorporate communications systems and modular open architectures.
