Job summary

GlobalLogic seeks an experienced test automation engineer in the United States to port test suites and Jenkins pipelines to ARM targets, and to develop PyTest frameworks for automated stress validation of core compute and kernel functionality.

You will implement QEMU emulation wrappers within build pipelines for rapid verification, debug failures across architectures, and work with Linux environments, Docker/QEMU virtualization, and multi-architecture build scripts. A relevant degree is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in test automation and pipeline development.
• Mastery of Python and PyTest for complex system-level test automation.
• Hands-on experience developing Jenkins shared libraries and Groovy pipeline scripts.

Job Responsibilities

• Port existing test suites, scripts, and Jenkins pipeline jobs to execute natively or via emulation on ARM hosts.
• Develop Python PyTest frameworks to validate core compute and kernel functionality under automated stress conditions.
• Implement and maintain QEMU emulation wrappers within build pipelines to enable rapid software verification.
• Debug test failures, build pipeline errors, and environment mismatches across architecture targets.

• Extensive experience in test automation and pipeline development.
• Testing Frameworks: Mastery of Python and PyTest for complex system-level test automation.
• CI/CD Systems: Hands‑on experience developing Jenkins shared libraries and Groovy pipeline scripts.
• System Knowledge: Familiarity with Linux environments, Docker/QEMU virtualization, and multi-architecture build scripts.

Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer or Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.

GlobalLogic estimates the starting pay range for this role to be performed remotely to be $140,000 to $150,000 and reflects base salary only. This pay range is provided as a good‑faith estimate, and the amount offered may be higher or lower. GlobalLogic takes many factors into consideration in making an offer, including candidate qualifications, work experience, operational needs, travel and onsite requirements, internal peer equity, prevailing wage, responsibilities, and other market and business considerations.
