Job summary

Unum is seeking a Test Engineer I to join an agile team focused on delivering high-quality software. You will perform both manual and automated testing to ensure that features meet requirements and quality standards.

You will design test plans, create test assets, and contribute to CI/CD by integrating automated tests into the pipeline while collaborating with Business Analysts, Product Owners, and developers to define acceptance criteria.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Experience creating and executing manual and automated test cases.
• Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.
• Experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, TestNG, JUnit, or similar).
• Experience with API testing and test management tools.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for ensuring quality of existing and new features through manual and automated testing.
• Create, maintain, and execute test plans, test cases, test scripts, regression packs, and other testing artifacts.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test solutions across functional, integration, and end-to-end testing.

Join us.General Summary:The Test Engineer I is responsible for working as part of an agile team that delivers business value to customers. This role ensures software is delivered to high quality standards through collaboration with agile team members and the application of both manual and automated testing techniques. The Test Engineer participates in the planning, design, management, execution, and reporting of testing activities using appropriate tools and methodologies while adhering to established process standards and industry regulations.
