Job summary

deciBel Research, Inc. is seeking a Software Test Engineer in Huntsville, AL to support the Ground Weapons System (GWS) program and the Ground Fire Control (GFC) product.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM required.
• 2 years of relevant STEM experience; 5 years max.
• Experience as software tester and integrator with test plans, procedures, or test execution.
• Understanding of systems integration of components within an integrated test environment.
• Knowledge of requirements development and collaboration.
• Experience with OO languages such as C++, Python, Ada, JAVA, Mongo, HTML.
• Knowledge of Python and automation scripting.
• Familiarity with configuration management tools: Git, GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, Jira, Jenkins, and others.
• Experience using GitHub (repos, branches, commits, pull requests), Bitbucket, Version Control, Repository management, and Data/Configuration management.
• Experience with Agile and automated test tools.
• Must be able to support an in-office / closed-area work environment full-time.

Responsibilities

• Support Ground Weapons System (GWS) program as a Test Team member for the Ground Fire Control product.
• Develop and execute test plans and procedures; perform test execution.
• Work as an independent contributor within the Test Team in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborate across teams to ensure proper integration and verification of components.
