Job summary

Cymertek Corporation in Tysons, VA is seeking a Test Engineer (Automated Testing) to design, develop, and execute automated test plans and cases, report defects, and ensure software meets functional and performance requirements. You will collaborate with developers and product managers, perform manual and automated testing, and help resolve issues throughout the development lifecycle.

A Bachelor's in CS or related field is preferred, TS/SCI Full Poly clearance active.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Experience designing, developing and executing automated tests.
• Strong knowledge of programming languages (Java, Python).
• Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with software testing methodologies.

KEY SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Test Engineer to join our team and ensure the quality and reliability of our software products. In this role, you will design, develop, and execute test plans and cases, identifying and reporting defects to ensure that the software meets both functional and performance requirements. You will collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand system requirements, perform manual and automated testing, and help resolve issues throughout the development lifecycle. The ideal candidate is passionate about quality assurance, has a strong attention to detail, and enjoys solving complex problems in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
