Job summary

Test engineers develop procedures and coordinate information across departments to ensure products perform to spec. Key duties include creating automated test programs, building test equipment, maintaining issue-tracking, and preparing data-driven reports.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of electronic hardware engineering experience.
• Ability to read electrical schematics.
• Knowledge on packaging, production planning, manufacturing quality.
• Strong attention to details.
• Proficiency in MS Office and communication tools.
• Excellent statistical data analysis and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop automated functional test programs for new and existing products.
• Design tests for PC based and stand-alone test equipment and build test jigs/stations.
• Maintains engineering team progress by reviewing issues and coordinating actions.
• Prepares test reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.
• Updates knowledge on emerging engineering practices and standards.
• Enhances reputation by ownership of new requests and adding value.
• Test software releases during product development and report results.
• Assist compliance by designing and testing set-ups for approval applications and Declarations of Conformity.
