Job description
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain test hardware, software, and interface solutions to support manufacturing and product quality objectives.
Create and implement manufacturing test frameworks that maximize test coverage and ensure product reliability.
Define, develop, debug, and deploy electrical test programs for DC-DC converters using Chroma S8000 ATE and compliant test methodologies.
Develop, document, and release new test programs to support new product introduction and on-time transition to production.
Partner with cross-functional teams to support design-for-test initiatives for thermal-mechanical solutions related to DC-DC converters and EMI filters.
Generate and maintain technical documentation including test hardware schematics, engineering drawings, standards, specifications, data analysis, and reports.
Support test engineering projects of varying complexity, both independently and as part of larger team initiatives.
Perform routine calibration, preventive maintenance, and minor repair activities on ATE systems.
Conduct experiments related to test methodology development, fixture design, yield improvement, and process quality control.
Analyze test data, identify trends, determine root cause of failures, and implement corrective actions.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues involving ATE systems, test hardware, software, and hardware interfaces.
Drive test process improvements that increase manufacturing throughput, reduce cost, and maintain product quality.
Provide support to other company sites as needed.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
Minimum 2 years of experience in electrical testing, ATE programming, or equivalent test engineering experience.
Experience with PCB schematic capture tools such as Cadence or Altium.
Basic programming experience in C, C++, Visual Basic, Python, or LabVIEW.
Hands-on experience using electronic lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, digital voltmeters, signal generators, and spectrum analyzers.
Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams.
CAD and SolidWorks knowledge is a plus.
Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing is a plus.
Experience with Chroma S8000 ATE is a plus.
