Job summary

Dev Technology Group is seeking a Senior Test Automation Engineer with a strong background in designing, developing, and maintaining automated test suites for React/Node.js services. The role emphasizes collaboration across teams, translating requirements into robust test strategies and scripts.

The candidate will implement testing tools (Selenium, Cypress, REST Assured, Postman), perform manual and performance testing, and ensure quality within an Agile SDLC.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of test automation experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
• Experience with web apps and API testing.
• Ability to obtain TSA clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts.

Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Test Automation Engineer with a strong background in designing, developing, and maintaining automated test suites and frameworks. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and collaborative abilities to ensure high-quality software delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts using TypeScript for React and Node.js applications and services.
• Implement and manage automated testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, REST Assured, Postman).
• Review user stories, requirements, and acceptance criteria to develop appropriate test scenarios and ensure delivered functionality meets business and technical requirements.
• Conduct manual testing to validate that implemented functionality meets documented requirements and acceptance criteria, including test case creation, execution, regression testing, and defect management.
• Conduct performance testing using tools such as JMeter and LoadRunner.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Execute database testing and data validation using SQL.
• Work within Agile frameworks (Scrum) and adhere to SDLC and software quality best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, analyze, and troubleshoot complex defects.

• Demonstrates a passion for solving complex challenges and enjoys working team collaboration.
• Active or ability to obtain a TSA Clearance.

"Our estimated salary range for this position is $95,000 - $110,000, this presented salary range is not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
