Job summary

Hitachi Energy Ltd. invites an Electrical Test Engineer to join our team in the United States, Missouri, Jefferson City, to ensure product quality, safety, and reliability through comprehensive testing in our Factory Test Room.

You will plan and execute factory acceptance, routine, design, and special tests while collaborating with customers, engineers, and manufacturing teams. You will analyze results, prepare reports, and drive improvements that raise performance, safety, and reliability,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of testing, quality, or manufacturing experience.
• Knowledge of IEC, IEEE, CSA and ISO standards.
• Experience interpreting technical specifications and executing structured test procedures.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across teams and customers.

• Plan, coordinate, and execute factory acceptance, routine, design, and special tests.
• Collaborate with customers and project teams to define testing requirements and schedules.
• Ensure all testing activities comply with applicable standards, regulations, and company procedures.
• Collect, verify, analyze, and securely maintain accurate test data and records.
• Prepare certified test reports and communicate results to stakeholders.
• Investigate test failures, perform root cause analyses, and support corrective actions.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance quality, safety, efficiency, and reliability.
• Mentor and support colleagues on testing procedures, standards, and best practices.
