Job summary

ASM Research, An Accenture Federal Services Company, seeks a QA Automation Engineer to support government IT projects. The role focuses on validating software through automated test scripts, CI/CD integration, and test reporting within Agile teams.

You will collaborate across requirements, design and test phases, performing reviews and executing tests with Java or C#/C++ tooling, contributing to quality and delivery timelines in a federal environment.

Job description

Participates in the quality assurance (QA) activities of a project which may include test case, requirements and design reviews. Executes test events (test plan, test scripts, schedule management, test report, test event). Documents and debriefs team members on test results.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field of study or equivalent relevant experience.

• minimum 2 years of hands on automated test coding experience using Java (or development experience with C++ or C#).

Other Job Specific Skills

• Previous experience required with the following: Continuous Integration (CI) / Continuous Delivery (CD); Behavior Driven Development (Cucumber); Java (including frameworks such as Spring and Springboot).

• Experience with Serenity and/or Cucumber

• Experience with Functional Testing, Integration Testing, System Testing, and User Acceptance Testing phases

• Experience with REST/SOAP webservices and APIs

• Experience with SQL

Other Job Specific Skills

• Hands on experience in Open Source Automated Test Frameworks (e.g. Serenity, Selenium, Cucumber).

• Experience using Java development tools (e.g. Eclipse, JUnit, Git).

• Prior experience with front-end development including JavaScript frameworks.

• Experience in a large scale Federal IT Program.

• Experience with Agile delivery framework.

Compensation ranges for ASM Research positions vary depending on multiple factors; including but not limited to, location, skill set, level of education, certifications, client requirements, contract-specific affordability, government clearance and investigation level, and years of experience.
