Employment Type: Contract

Description: Perform and coordinate end-to-end network engineering and provisioning of both on net and off net Internal Network orders in all regions. This position will require a project management skill set to manage order workflow. Team will review ICR’s for pertinent information; work with requestors to obtain any missing information necessary to place installs, disconnects, move, add and change orders. Responsible to enter M6 and DPI orders which initiate work flow to all other engineering teams. Must have knowledge of general telecommunications networks and equipment to communicate with engineering teams on order issues. Required to have knowledge in all aspects of provisioning which includes: order processes, familiarity with ordering systems, requesting services by creating ASR’s, ISR’s and PSR’s with various LEC’s, CLEC’s, Carriers, Vendors and internal FTR teams. Responsible to coordinate and troubleshoot the turn up of service with the vendors and LEC’s to resolution. This position will work extensively with the Access Engineers, Regional Engineers, Core Engineers, Co techs, Project Managers, FTR Network Cost Management team, Vendors for Cross connects and Carrier Account Mangers. Areas of responsibility include, but not limited to: Network quality control, internal orders for on-net conversions, budget to network cost analysis, network expense and savings opportunities.
