Job summary

Cadmus is seeking a Test Engineer to support a federal customer, shaping quality across complex systems from planning to production support. You will bridge business requirements with technical solutions, validate data, and drive continuous improvement of testing processes.

The role requires handling end-to-end testing in an enterprise setting, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring solutions meet business expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Engineering, Information Systems, or similar).
• 2-4 years of experience in data or system testing within complex, enterprise environments.
• Experience querying and validating large, complex data sets; working knowledge of SQL preferred.
• Exposure to modern data platforms (e.g., Snowflake or similar cloud data tools) preferred.
• Agile experience required; SAFe or scaled Agile frameworks preferred.
• Exposure to scripting or data analysis tools (e.g., R, Python) is a plus but not required.
• Ability to obtain a FNS MBI Clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute data testing strategies aligned to complex workflows, business rules, and system integrations.
• Develop and maintain test plans, cases, and supporting documentation based on detailed requirements analysis.
• Perform end-to-end testing and manage defects, including test logging, validation, and results tracking.
• Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to validate requirements, refine testing, and support releases.
• Validate data and integration outputs, including API testing across environments.
• Partner with client SMEs to triage, reproduce, and resolve defects, including production support as needed.

Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States as a U.S Perm Resident or U.S. Citizen.

The salary range for this position is$65,000 - $80,000. The actual salary will be determined by several factors, including relevant work experience, education, skills, and market competitiveness.
