Job summary

Set of X is seeking an experienced test engineer to automate and execute tests across complex telephony and networking hardware. You will design test cases, run baselines, and analyze large data logs to verify requirements.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in test engineering, strong Python skills, and the ability to work with Linux environments and CI tools like Jenkins. A TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required to join the team in Maryland.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as a test engineer developing or executing test scripts and analyzing results in system testing of complex systems.
• Strong Python experience.
• Experience with using and developing scripts in Python and creating regular expressions for searching data sets.
• Experience with integrating new and old technologies into existing network configurations and testbeds.
• Experience with creating scenarios that support the creation of test cases and analysis of procedures.
• Ability to manage discrepancy reports identified during testing.
• Ability to develop, build, and test multiple lab environments using various telephony and networking hardware following formal testing methods.
• Ability to set priorities and rearrange schedules to address unexpected issues, and perform baseline, system, and regression level testing in support of research and development efforts.

Clearance

TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
