Job summary

Amazon Leo in Redmond, WA seeks a hands-on Test Development Engineer with hardware/software test development experience for manufacturing. You will lead test system design, integration testing, and gate-review documentation while troubleshooting yield issues across prototype and production builds.

You will collaborate with design engineers, work with MATLAB/Python data analysis, and travel domestically and internationally as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience programming in at least one modern language such as Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, Rust.
• Experience with Linux/Unix environments.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 2+ years of experience developing hardware test systems, including test software and supporting hardware.
• Experience with hardware/software integration testing and debugging.

• Work with design engineers to collect design-for-testability feedback throughout the design process.
• Develop procedures and troubleshooting guides to support production.
• Travel domestically and internationally.

We're looking for a hands-on Test Development Engineer with a background in hardware/software test development for manufacturing.

Key job responsibilities

• Lead the test system design and validation
• Lead software/hardware integration testing
• Lead review and analysis on data using tools such as MATLAB, Python, or similar
